At our Islamic High School Program, we believe in providing a balanced and comprehensive learning experience that nurtures both the intellectual and spiritual growth of students. Designed to meet the demands of modern education while keeping Islamic values at the heart of the curriculum, this program is your pathway to a bright academic future and a deeper connection with your faith.
Program Structure
Classes
- This unique program runs daily from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at Masjid al-Huda, offering a structured and enriching learning experience for students.
- In the morning sessions, we focus on core academic subjects, offering a strong foundation in subjects such as Mathematics, Science, English, Social Studies, and more.
- In the afternoon sessions, students delve into Islamic Studies, which includes subjects such as Arabic Language, Tafseer (Quranic exegesis), Dua (supplications), Hadith (teachings of Prophet Muhammad), Fiqh (Islamic jurisprudence), Aqaid (Islamic Creed), Islamic History, and Islamic Discipline. These lessons are aimed at deepening the student’s understanding of their faith and developing a solid foundation in Islamic knowledge.
Curriculum
Grade 8
Quran:
- Tajweed: Correct recitation of the Quran
- Memorization of Juz Amma: Surah Mulak – Surah Waqeyah – Surah Yaseen – Surah Sajda – Surah Kahf
- Tafseer: Surah Duha to Naas
- Islamic Studies: An Nasiha Level 8
- Arabic: Memorization of the Tasheel Dua Book with translation
Grade 9
Quran:
- Daily Quran Recitation
- Revision of the Memorized portions of the Quran
- Tafseer:Surah Naba to Layl
- Islamic Studies:Tasheel Leval 9
- Arabic:Madinah Course Book Level 1
Grade 10
Quran:
- Daily Quran Recitation
- Revision of the Memorized portions of the Quran
- Tafseer: 29th Juz complete
- Islamic Studies: Tasheel Level 10
- Arabic: Madinah Course Book Level 2
Grade 11
Quran:
- Daily Quran Recitation
- Revision of the Memorized portions of the Quran
- Tafseer: Surah Mulk -Waqeyah -Sajda – (Tuhfatush Shabaab) Fitn that teen face compiled by Jameetul Ulama KZN
- Islamic Studies: Tasheel Level 11
- Arabic: Madinah Course Book Level 3
Grade 12
Quran:
- Daily Quran Recitation
- Revision of the Memorized portions of the Quran
- Tafseer: Surah Kahaf – Firka Batila – How to face real life Challenges
- Islamic Studies: Tasheel Level 12
- Arabic:Qasas un nabiyeen (parts 1-4)
Fees
- $300 per month
- financial arrangements for students who can not afford it
Admission Requirements
- Age: 9-18 years (Grade 4-12 entry)
- Basic knowledge of Islamic studies
- Capable or reading Arabic
- Entrance exam and interview with program administration
